The most frequently used technique for leather is probably heat-embossing, but you can also achieve great designs with screen-printing and foil-embossing

Sustainability has become a very important topic in our world today and KT Trims & Accessories is, of course, investing in sustainable options such as our recycled leather. Our recycled leather is made of over 90% natural, re-growing raw materials. Apart from leather, it consists of natural fat and natural latex. As well as genuine leather, the recycled option can be treated with all common techniques like heat-embossing, screen- printing or foil-embossing.

Next to leather, Jacron is the most known material for labels. It is popular for its high resistance to washes – even stone washes – and probably the only material which can be sewn to the Jeans before the industrial wash. Jacron can be combined with all techniques, though the most common is screen-printing.

Pu leather is probably the most complex material we use to manufacture patches and is the most fashionable material for fancy and colorful labels for ladies and children’s apparel. It is available in a variety of surfaces, thicknesses, colors and price ranges and is most frequently foil embossed, although screen printing and heat embossing are also available. KT Trims & Accessories also offers water-based PU´s that can be used as a sustainable option.

KT Trims & Accessories pays attention to sustainability… not easy to achieve when speaking of labels. The features for labels are quite different than they are for garments, which makes it sometimes difficult to find the right product. Next to recycled leather and water-based PU we are currently using material which is made of Pineapple fibers and Bio-Dee, a combination of fruits and PU leather.
